What is included with a Private Chef Service?
We bring everything you need for a smooth and memorable dining experience—just set the table and enjoy!
Hibachi: We provide the chef, hibachi grill, fresh ingredients, sauces, cooking tools, disposable sauce cups & chopsticks, and of course—the live show-style entertainment.
Sushi: We bring the chef, fresh seafood and ingredients, wasabi, soy sauce, ginger, sushi-making tools, and disposable utensils like chopsticks and sauce containers.
Note: We do not provide flatware, dinner plates, tables, or chairs for either service. Please plan to set those up ahead of time.
Do you cook inside homes?
Hibachi: No, we only cook outdoors (patios, terraces, covered spaces).
Sushi: Yes, we can serve indoors or outdoors.
What if it rains?
Hibachi: You must provide a covered outdoor space (tent, awning, etc.). We cook rain or shine.
Sushi: We can accommodate both indoor and outdoor settings.
What time will the chef arrive?
The chef will arrive about 20 minutes before your reserved time. Setup is fast and seamless.
How long does dinner take?
The whole experience usually takes 2–2.5 hours. In the circumstance that you are not ready to start dinner at your requested time, we will start charging $100 per hour once we have been onsite for over three hours.
Pricing & Booking
How does pricing work?
The price for our catering service is determined by how many people make a booking.
Sushi: $1,000 minimum for an onsite sushi chef
Hibachi: $60/person, $600 minimum
How can I make a reservation?
All bookings are done through our website. For parties over 30 guests, please make two bookings for the same time slot so we can assign two chefs.
Is there a deposit?
A deposit is required to confirm your booking. The cost of the deposit will vary depending on the size and scope of your event, though it is typically 50% of the total cost. If you need to cancel your event, 50% of the deposit can be refunded if canceled between 14 days and 72 hours prior to the event.
Sushi only: If the order is canceled within 72 hours of the event, we cannot refund your deposit.
Hibachi only: A $200 fee applies for reschedules or cancellations within 72 hours
Can I change my reservation?
If you need to make changes to the number of guests on your reservation, please give us at least 3 days notice. Past that point in time, the guaranteed number of guests can no longer be decreased but you may add on if necessary. This will allow us to adjust the guest count and make any necessary changes. You will be charged for the guaranteed number of guests even if fewer guests attend the event. Please note that you will be charged for any guests added after the guarantee deadline. For any other changes, please contact us as early as possible for adjustments.
Menu & Dietary Needs
How to choose a menu?
We have our own distinct menu, but we can customize it to your wishes.
Can you adjust the menu if you have any food allergen sensitivity and/or gluten intolerance?
Yes, we are more than happy to adjust the menu if you have any food allergen sensitivities and/or gluten intolerance. We can modify our ingredients accordingly to best serve guests who have food allergies.
Gluten-free guests: Bring your own soy or teriyaki sauce, and we’ll cook your portion separately.
We do not use nuts or sesame in our dishes, but please double-check with us if you have specific concerns.
If someone doesn’t eat meat, we’re happy to offer vegetarian or vegan options, such as tofu, extra vegetables, salad, or noodles. The per-person price remains the same.
Do you have food for children?
We can certainly accommodate young children within our menu. We have a variety of items on our menu that are suitable for kids, such as our delicious California Rolls. If you have any specific requests, please don’t hesitate to let us know in advance so we can be sure to have what you need.
Can I provide my own proteins or ingredients?
No. Due to insurance and food safety policies, we do not cook or serve outside ingredients.
Do you provide alcohol?
Currently, we do not provide alcohol with our service.
